I received an email from my advertisement on Craigslist asking for Sublime Computer Services to rebuild some laptops. It seemed like a normal deal right up to the point the client said they would send a check with the laptops. At this point I did a little Googling and guess what. It was a scam. They send you a check(BAD) for too much money then contact you and have you send them a check back for the difference.
It didn't happen to me. I am sharing so it also doesn't happen to you. I put together a fair deal I wasn't about to make a bunch of money but Life Rule: If it seems too good to be true it usually is.

2 Install Win Xp with Service Pack 2
3 Microsoft Office Package
4 AVG Virus Software (Free Lifetime Updates)
5 Adobe Acrobat
6 Laptop Cleaning of the keyboard, screen and other case.
7 Diagnostics of the entire system after to check hard, cdsrom,
floppy, etc. Get back to me with your total cost for the services of
7 Laptops. I will pay you with a certified check .

I estimate that it will take 8 hours to complete this project. We bill at $100 per hour for desktop work. We are running a Labor Day special until 9/11/09 where you would get 10% off. That would be a bill for $720.
I do have some questions for you.
Are all of the laptops identical? If they are all different they will require different drivers.
You asked for XP SP2. Do you specifically only want SP2 or do you want them to have SP3 and the latest updates? Do you have licenses for XP or did the machines come with an OEM license. It should be a sticker attached to the laptops if it came OEM.
Do you have licenses for the Office software either 2003 or 2007? Because MS requires activation you will need a unique license for each unless you have an Open License. - Or you could go with Open Office which is free.
Adobe Acrobat do you mean Reader(Free) to view PDF's or Adobe Acrobat(Not Free) to create PDF's. I use PDF Creator to create PDF's it is free.
Do you have the diagnostics disks with these laptops? - They can be downloaded from Dell's site if you do not.
Withstanding any hardware issues this should be accomplished in one or two days depending on what time of day we get the hardware.

am okay with the price i have all the necessary software needed for
the service installations.... I will instruct my secretary to prepare
